ABSTRACT
THE INFLUENCE OF MURABAHAH FINANCING RISK AND CREDIT INTEREST RATE TO MARGIN RATE OF MURABAHAH FINANCING
After the economic crisis in Indonesia, shariah banks have growth significantly in numbers as well as their asset, their third party fund, and so their financing. This condition of course, affects shariah banks liquidity and third party fund management. Shariah banks must perform the expansion of financing to maintain FDR and profitability so that the customer’s profit sharing and margin rate will not fluctuate. The purpose of this research is to examine the influence of murabahah financing risk and credit interest rate to margin rate of financing murabahah simultaneously and partially. This research use descriptive method with associative approach. Population of this research are Full Pledge Islamic Bank and Conventional Bank which have been running window system of Islamic System Bank in Indonesia for the year 2005 – 2006. Statistical method is used at 5% significance level which at first, data are transformed with classic regression assumption. Regression multiple was used in hypothetical test. The results of these hypothesis shows that first, hypothesis that states there is an influence of murabahah financing risk and credit interest rate to margin rate of murabahah financing simultaneously is accepted. It means that murabahah financing risk and credit interest rate have significant influence to margin rate of murabahah financing simultaneously. Secondly, hypothesis that states there is an influence of murabahah financing risk to margin rate of murabahah financing is accepted. It means that murabahah financing risk has significant influence to margin rate of financing murabahah partially. Thirdly, hypothesis that states there is an influence of credit interest rate to margin rate of financing murabahah is accepted. It means that credit interest rate has significant influence to margin rate of financing murabahah partially.
